Students from Soka University Japan conducted an education exchange activity with SK on February 28, bringing much cheer and joy to the children. SK is part of the international Soka Schools network, and the annual activity gives the children an early experience of global connection.
And on July 10, K2 students participated in an afternoon of interactive programme with a group of visiting students from Soka University Japan. The delegation led by their Professor from the Faculty of Education, comprises students on a Master programme for teacher education at the University. Beside Soka Kindergarten, the exchange programme students also visited one local secondary school.
In their review, the visitors expressed that among other things, they were impressed with the Kindergarten’s project based approach in education, and how the Kindergarten inculcates the ideals of its School Founder Daisaku Ikeda and the spirit of the motto in its curriculum and programme.
